Human Body Interactive Activities

1. Build Your Own Skeleton Activity

Let’s have some skeleton fun! Help your students learn the different parts of the skeleton as they put it all together and use a color code to color each bone.

2. Functions of the Skeletal System

This hands-on activity is a creative way to challenge your students and see how well they know the functions of the Skeletal System. The activity involves cutting out 5 functions related to the skeletal system (the other 5 are Unrelated). As a bonus, students can try to name the body system to which the unrelated functions belong to.

3. Human Body Systems Puzzle

This involves cutting out the puzzle, matching, and gluing each piece in the correct order. The template is mixed up, so make sure each body system has 3 parts – The name of the System, the picture, and the function.

4. Layers of the Bone

This interactive notebook is made for students to practice the layers of the bone. They will color the layers and glue the correct definition under the correct flap.

5. The Lungs Activity

This interactive activity will allow your students to label the lungs, cut out the template and glue it in their notebooks. On the left flap, there is a short passage the students will read, and on the right, there is a picture of the right lung that they can color.

6. Digestive System Stages Flower

Students will cut out the flower template showing the 5 stages of the digestive system. After gluing the middle down and leaving the 5 “petals” as flaps, they will glue the stages in the correct order under each numbered flap.

7. Human Body Systems Labeling Flaps

These labeling flaps are a great way to teach kids about the different body systems. There is a template for each system, and all they have to do is use the word bank to identify the different parts of the Human Body Systems.

8. Brain Puzzle

A stimulating practice activity is this Brain Puzzle. The students will have to color the puzzle pieces and place each piece correctly in the empty head template. For advanced students, they can label the different parts of the brain themselves, making it more of a fun challenge!
